Scholarship Overview
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Wells Fargo are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member-schools that include 53 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Sixty (60) scholars will be selected to receive a fall emergency gap scholarship of up to award $1000 for the 2023-2024 academic school year. Selected students must be in good academic standing, but at risk of not returning or graduating from college due to an outstanding financial need, and/or emergency situation that leads to a financial aid crisis.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at a TMCF member-school during the 2023-2024 academic school year.
- Current cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
- Have an unpaid student account balance of up to $1000.
- Able to demonstrate a financial need.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
All Applicants Must:
- Provide your school’s account balance statement.
- Have completed a FAFSA for 2023-2024 acade mic year.
